Wireless Networking Review
Day one of this course is dedicated to getting delegates up to speed on 802.11 wireless networking. Understand what organisations and standards affect the wireless network industry. Learn how the different wireless technologies work. Understand what the different wireless devices are and how and when each of them should be deployed. The day will finish by examining wireless network architecture and considering the processes that clients go through when joining, leaving and roaming through wireless networks.

Wireless Security
Wireless network security has become a minefield of acronyms and solutions which can be confusing and seemingly complex. When faced with security options such as WEP, WPA, WPA-PSK, 802.11i, AES, TKIP, LEAP, PEAP, TLS and TTLS security systems - how do you decide which solution to pick? You may have heard that WEP is insecure, and even read articles on LEAP and WPA-PSK security cracks, leaving you confused as to the best choice of security solution. In this session we learn which security techniques should be implemented so you can be sure that you will make informed choices.

Wireless Intrusion
This session will investigate why many wireless security solutions are fundamentally flawed. Using both instructor-led demonstrations and hands-on WEP cracking labs, this section of the course will show delegates how easily holes in current wireless LAN security solutions can be exploited and will indentify common pitfalls.
