ITU Select MarQuest for Wireless Training
MarQuest have been selected to provide
wireless LAN Training to IT staff at the International Telecommunications
Union (ITU) headquarters in Geneva.
The training will cover a wide range of topics from
installation and administration through to security and troubleshooting
techniques. MarQuest’s marketing director Alistair Meakin
said “We are delighted to have been selected by the ITU-T.
I believe this reflects well on our range of technical knowledge
in Wireless LAN technology and on our abilities to provide world-class
training.
The ITU selected MarQuest from a competitive bid
process involving companies across Europe. Comments like this from
Paul Cox at Humberside Police were a key factor in the ITU’s
decision to choose MarQuest:
“I would like to say that MarQuest give a
first class service ….To sum up as a Force we are more than
happy with MarQuest and their courses I think they are invaluable
to any company with a wireless infrastructure”
The seven day course will be presented to the ITU
in September by MarQuest instructor Peter Mackenzie. Peter is a
highly experienced Wireless LAN expert and has delivered numerous
courses internationally on wireless LAN and on network troubleshooting.
MarQuest is a CWNP Education centre. CWNP is administered
by Planet3 in the USA which is a vendor-independent wireless LAN
training scheme. Recipients of CWNP training courses receive professionally
produced courseware which is regularly updated to keep apace with
technological developments. CWNP study guides are available from
mainstream publishers such as McGrawHill and Sibex. Certifications
for wireless LAN administration and security can be obtained via
Thomson Prometric Test Centres.
